About Wen Zhiming

My work in criminal defense depends on the stage of the case. When reviewing a case file, I compare recorded statements with other evidence to see which facts are supported, where the materials conflict, and what still needs checking. I then explain the defense strategy and next steps to the people who have instructed me.

In matters involving financial loss from suspected fraud, I compare contracts, transaction records, and communications. Depending on the agreed scope of work, I provide a written assessment of the available criminal and civil options. When retained to pursue a criminal complaint, I can prepare the materials, follow up on the proceedings, and assist with asset recovery if a criminal case is opened.

I have published educational pieces on criminal law and made videos explaining criminal procedure. In both my writing and my consultations, I aim to explain where things stand and what steps are available.
